Description

The Aureli is a 780mm curved alabaster wall light built from a single S-shaped length of natural Spanish alabaster, banded at its midpoint with a brushed brass collar. An integrated 3000K LED runs internally, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The fixture projects 90mm from the wall and measures 150mm at its widest point, with an 80mm stone diameter through the body.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and entryways, the Aureli works as ambient wall lighting where a vertical accent is needed without the bulk of a sconce or picture light. The slim 90mm projection keeps it close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow corridors and beside-bed positions where deeper fittings would intrude. The 780mm height suits walls with at least 1.2m of clear vertical space.

Each alabaster body is cut from natural stone, so the cloudy veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces and become more visible once the LED is lit. The solid copper internal frame carries the weight of the stone and supports the brushed brass band that wraps the centre. Mounted unlit, the Aureli reads as a pale sculptural form against the wall; lit, it casts a warm wash up and down the wall surface with the brass band creating a defined horizontal break in the glow.

What bulb does the Aureli take?

The Aureli uses an integrated LED running at 230V mains with a 3000K warm-white colour temperature. The LED is built into the fixture and is not user-replaceable, which is why the 2-year warranty applies to the lamp as a whole.

Is the Aureli dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and the LED driver fitted. We recommend contacting us with the dimmer make and model before installation so we can confirm compatibility for this fitting.

Does each alabaster body look the same?

No. Each Aureli is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the cloudy veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. The patterning becomes more pronounced once the LED is switched on. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

The Aureli is designed for vertical wall mounting, with the brushed brass band and internal LED orientated for that position. Horizontal installation is not recommended as it changes the light distribution and the visual balance of the curve.
