Description

This is a pair of round stoneware dinner plates in cream, each 27cm across and 1.5cm tall, so they take a full main course with room to spare. Each plate carries its own leaf motif in fine line: one has a branching sprig of deeply cut leaves on a slender stem, the other a single serrated leaf with its veins traced from stalk to tip. The rim curves gently and is softly irregular rather than perfectly even, which keeps the pair from looking stiff on the table.

Sized for a roast, a bowl of pasta or a generous salad, these are proper dinner plates, and their shallow profile suits food that holds its shape on the plate.
