Description

Three clear glass shades hang from a slim antique brass frame, each one taking a small candle lamp on an E14 socket. The glass is left plain so the lamp inside stays visible, and the brass carries an aged, softly darkened tone rather than a bright polish. At 36cm across it reads as a compact cluster rather than a wide fitting, and the light it gives is bright and a little sparkly through the glass. We would fit warm white LED candle lamps here, flame tip if you like the older look, plain candle if you prefer something quieter.

It suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a broad hallway, and the drop adjusts across a useful range, so it can sit low over a table or hang higher in a through room. Fit dimmable lamps and it will dim on a compatible dimmer, though no dimmer comes with it. It is one we suggest where a single large shade would feel heavy overhead, and where you want the ceiling to stay visible behind the light. Small lamps spread the light more evenly across a table than a single central bulb, which is why it earns its place in dining rooms.

Glass and metal throughout: the shades are clear, the frame finished in antique brass. Each lamp takes up to 20W, so LEDs give plenty of output within that. Switch off and let things cool, then take a dry microfibre to the glass and a light touch to the brass, leaving no moisture behind. Keep it to dry indoor rooms on a household circuit. It carries a one year warranty. We stock the same size in polished chrome, and a wider version in either finish if the table is longer. Lamps are not included.
