Atla 4 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome & Black

The Atla is a 380mm semi-flush ceiling light built around cascading tiers of Asfour crystal strands suspended from a polished chrome and black circular canopy. Four G9 bulb fittings sit behind the upper tier of crystal, casting light down through the crystal layers and out through a clear acrylic rim. The 250mm projection from ceiling to lowest crystal point gives the fitting enough presence for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms without the full drop of a pendant.

The polished chrome outer rim establishes the frame, while black crystal beads are interspersed with clear Asfour crystal throughout the cascading strands. This two-tone crystal arrangement creates contrast when lit and a sculptural silhouette when viewed unlit. The clear acrylic edge around the canopy catches and refracts light from the bulbs, adding depth to the fixture and spreading light horizontally as well as downward through the crystal.

Each Asfour crystal piece is precision-cut to a faceted profile, so when the bulbs are on the light refracts through multiple angles, creating highlights and movement across the ceiling and walls. The semi-flush mounting means the fitting sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain or rod, making it suitable for rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights where a full pendant would hang too low. The combined weight of the chrome frame, acrylic rim and crystal strands is 3.3kg, requiring a secure ceiling fixing.

What bulbs does the Atla take?

The fitting takes four G9 bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not include dimming circuitry — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you choose and the dimmer model installed on the circuit.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 250mm projection from ceiling to lowest crystal point makes the Atla suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights. It will work in lower ceilings but may feel visually dominant in rooms under 2.3m.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the circuit at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal strand gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or using household sprays, which can leave residue on the faceted surfaces.
