The Ascent is a 1.8m floor lamp built around a tapered steel column finished in matt black, topped with a hard-backed dark grey silk shade measuring 460mm diameter at the base. The column tapers from approximately 150mm square at the base to 100mm at the top, giving the lamp a stable footprint without dominating floor space. The E27 fitting inside the shade accepts a single bulb up to 60W, sold separately.
