Description

The Armonia Spiral is a semi-flush ceiling light built around a continuous ribbon of white acrylic that spirals outward from a polished chrome ceiling canopy in a sculptural loop. Two integrated 30W LED modules inside the acrylic ribbon emit 4500 lumens of 3000K warm white light with a 120° beam angle, diffused through the white acrylic to create an even glow along the entire spiral form.

Designed for entrance halls, large landings, and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Armonia Spiral offers both ambient illumination and visual impact. The 780mm length and 660mm drop create a commanding presence without requiring a full suspension fitting, making it suitable for rooms where a chandelier would hang too low. The polished chrome finish on the canopy and structural elements catches reflections from the acrylic ribbon, creating dynamic highlights that shift with viewing angle and natural light throughout the day.

The spiral form extends 780mm along its longest axis and projects 660mm down from the ceiling, with a width of 410mm at its widest curve. The white acrylic ribbon wraps around two separate LED strips positioned inside the spiral, giving the appearance of a single continuous light source rather than discrete bulb points. The 2.6kg weight requires secure ceiling mounting into a joist or using appropriate fixings for plasterboard ceilings. The LED modules are non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V UK mains.

Is the Armonia Spiral dimmable?

No. The integrated LED modules are non-dimmable and should be wired directly to a standard on/off switch. Attempting to use this fitting with a dimmer may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 660mm drop from ceiling to the lowest point of the spiral works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower rooms the spiral may hang closer to head height than is comfortable for circulation spaces.

Can the LED modules be replaced?

The LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The modules are rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use. If a module fails within the 3-year warranty period, contact Mantra or the retailer for a replacement unit.

What fixing is required for a plasterboard ceiling?

The 2.6kg weight requires either fixing directly into a ceiling joist or using appropriate heavy-duty plasterboard fixings rated for at least 5kg. Standard lightweight cavity fixings are not suitable for this fitting.
