Description

The Armonia Medium is a semi-flush ceiling light built around two intertwined acrylic ribbon forms that loop and cross in a continuous sculptural flow, mounted on a polished chrome ceiling plate. Each ribbon houses an integrated LED strip running along its length, turning the entire 900mm-wide form into the light source. The combined 60W LED output delivers 4500 lumens at 3000K warm white, distributed across the overlapping curves to create ambient fill rather than directional task light.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Armonia works in open-plan living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms where a statement ceiling piece is needed without the drop of a full pendant. The 560mm projection from the ceiling sits the ribbons into the upper third of the room rather than the central viewing plane, making it suitable for spaces where a traditional chandelier or deep pendant would feel too low. The 120° beam angle from each ribbon spreads light across ceilings and upper walls, softening shadows without creating glare at eye level.

The acrylic diffusers are translucent white, giving the ribbons a soft glow when lit and a milky appearance when off. The polished chrome finish on the ceiling mount and ribbon end caps reflects surrounding light and adds metallic accent to the white forms. The ribbons themselves are shaped in asymmetric loops that create different profiles depending on viewing angle — from directly below the pattern reads as overlapping arcs, while from the side the varying heights of the loops give a three-dimensional layered effect. The total weight of 2.72kg requires a ceiling fixing rated for at least 5kg to accommodate safe long-term installation.
