Description

The Armonia Medium is a semi-flush ceiling light built around a sculptural arrangement of looping acrylic ribbons, each containing integrated LED modules that emit 4500lm of warm 3000K light. The ribbons curve and fold into one another in a three-dimensional pattern that spans 900mm width and drops 560mm from the ceiling, with the dark silver (titanium) finish contrasting against the illuminated white acrylic diffusers running the length of each ribbon.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrance halls with standard ceiling heights, the semi-flush structure keeps the fitting closer to the ceiling than a pendant while the looping ribbons add visual interest without occupying floor-to-ceiling sightlines. The 60W integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or universal dimmer, allowing the 4500lm output to be reduced for evening ambient lighting or increased for full room illumination. The 120° beam angle from the acrylic diffusers spreads light broadly across the ceiling plane rather than creating a focused pool below.

The ribbons are formed from continuous acrylic sections that twist through the frame, giving the fitting a sculptural presence when viewed from different angles across the room. The dark silver metallic backing reflects less ambient daylight than lighter finishes, which helps the illuminated white acrylic stand out more distinctly when the light is switched on. The central ceiling plate measures approximately 150mm diameter and conceals the wiring connection and LED driver, with the ribbon structure radiating outward from this point. At 2.72kg the fitting requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or suitable backing plate rather than relying on a standard plasterboard fixing alone.

Yes. The integrated 60W LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or universal dimmer switch. Compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so confirm with the dimmer manufacturer or contact us before installation if you plan to dim the fitting.

How is the fitting secured to the ceiling?

At 2.72kg the Armonia requires fixing into a ceiling joist or a suitable backing plate rather than standard plasterboard fixings. The central ceiling plate is approximately 150mm diameter and conceals the wiring connection and LED driver. Professional installation is recommended.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

The LEDs are integrated into the ribbon structure and are not user-replaceable. The LED modules are rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use at full output, which equates to around 10 years of typical residential use. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty covering LED failure.
