Description

The Armand is a three-tier crystal chandelier with 24 E14 candle bulb positions arranged across a polished chrome frame measuring 112cm in diameter. The central column rises vertically through the middle of the fitting, with chrome arms radiating outward at three distinct levels to carry the bulbs. Each arm terminates in a crystal bobeche beneath the bulb holder, and faceted crystal strands drape between the arms to connect the tiers.

Designed for entrance halls, dining rooms and double-height spaces with ceiling clearances of at least 2.8m, the Armand's minimum drop of 1965mm can extend to 3920mm depending on ceiling height. The three-tier structure distributes light across a wide vertical span, creating layered illumination suitable for rooms where a single-tier fitting would leave gaps in light distribution. The 32.5kg weight requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting structural loads and secure electrical termination.

The polished chrome finish on the frame and the clear cut crystal droplets produce high reflectivity under both natural daylight and artificial light. The crystal strands are precision-cut to refract light into spectrum colours when illuminated, adding texture to the light output beyond what plain glass would provide. The chandelier requires 24 E14 candle bulbs sold separately, with dimming possible if dimmable LED or filament bulbs are installed on a compatible dimmer circuit. The chandelier requires 24 E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit 4W-6W LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K for warm white light. The maximum wattage per bulb is 60W, though LED equivalents drawing 4-6W typically provide sufficient brightness across 24 positions.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 1965mm requires a ceiling height of at least 2.8m to leave adequate clearance below the lowest crystal droplets. The chain can be extended to a maximum drop of 3920mm for taller entrance halls or stairwells with double-height ceilings.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Yes, if dimmable LED or filament bulbs are installed and the circuit is wired to a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimming relies entirely on bulb and switch compatibility.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off power at the fuse board before cleaning. Wipe individual crystal droplets and strands with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or allowing water into the bulb holders.
