Description

The Armand is an 85cm-diameter crystal chandelier carrying 12 E14 bulbs across three tiers of curved arms, finished in French gold. Faceted crystal droplets hang in draped strands between the arms and from the central column, creating layers of refracted light when the bulbs are lit. The French gold finish sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone, giving the metal a warm, slightly aged appearance that softens reflections.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Armand requires a minimum drop of 1520mm from ceiling rose to the bottom crystal finial, with chain adjustment up to 3010mm for taller spaces. The 85cm diameter suits rooms of 4.5m x 4.5m or larger, where the chandelier can sit centrally without crowding walls or furniture. Each tier of candle-style bulb holders curves outward from the central column, with the lowest tier providing the widest spread.

The chandelier arrives in components requiring assembly and electrical connection before installation. The combined weight of the metal frame and crystal elements is 16.5kg, so ceiling fixings must be rated for a hanging load of at least 25kg to provide adequate safety margin. The crystals are strung on metal wire and secured at each arm junction, so the drape pattern can be adjusted slightly during assembly if needed. Is the Armand dimmable?

The chandelier itself is dimmable-compatible when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs (sold separately). The dimmer switch must be rated for the total wattage of the bulbs used and compatible with LED if using LED candle bulbs.
