Description

The Argos is a 102cm island chandelier with three brown smoke glass shades suspended from a chrome bar, each shade paired with crystal droplets that hang beneath the glass dome. The fitting includes three G9 LED 6W bulbs housed inside the shades, giving warm light that reflects off the mirrored interior of each dome and refracts through the crystal below.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and peninsulas between 1.8-2.4m long, the Argos provides task and ambient light across a horizontal plane. The adjustable drop ranges from 36cm to 140cm, allowing the fitting to be set 700-800mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The chrome bar and brown smoke glass suit both contemporary and transitional kitchens with warm metal accents.

The glass shades draw on Murano-style glasswork traditions, with a shimmered surface texture that diffuses light while the mirrored interior reflects it back through the glass. The crystal droplets beneath each shade add decorative detail and throw additional light patterns onto surfaces below. At 2.5kg the fitting needs secure ceiling fixings, gravity toggles are included in the box for plasterboard ceiling installation.

Does the Argos come with bulbs?

Yes. The fitting includes three G9 LED 6W bulbs. These are already installed inside the glass shades when the product ships.

What length kitchen island does it suit?

The 102cm width suits islands or dining tables between 1.8m and 2.4m long. For longer islands over 2.4m, consider pairing two Argos fittings spaced evenly, or choosing a longer bar pendant.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by shortening the suspension cables to the required length between 36cm and 140cm. Once installed and the excess cable concealed, further adjustment requires partial disassembly.

Is it suitable for sloped ceilings?

The Argos is designed for flat ceilings. On sloped ceilings the chrome bar will hang at an angle unless a sloped ceiling adapter plate is used, which is not included with the fitting.
