The Argi is a 1690mm floor lamp built on a brown oxide metal stem with two circular decorative motifs inspired by traditional Basque metalwork, topped with a 600mm taupe fabric drum shade. The lamp houses three E27 bulbs (sold separately) beneath the shade, providing ambient and task lighting in one fitting.

Designed for living rooms, reading corners and lounge areas where ambient light is needed without overhead ceiling fixtures, the Argi suits interiors that pair rustic materials with warm-toned textiles. The brown oxide finish on the metal frame gives a weathered appearance that works with reclaimed wood furniture, terracotta accents and earth-toned palettes. The taupe fabric shade diffuses the light from all three bulbs, preventing glare and spreading an even wash across the room.

The circular motifs on the stem are formed from flat metal scrollwork, giving the lamp a three-dimensional profile when viewed from the side. The 600mm shade diameter provides enough coverage to balance the lamp's 1690mm height without overwhelming smaller rooms. The metal base is weighted to 7.5kg total, giving stability on carpet and hard floors without needing to be bolted. The brown oxide finish is a powder-coated treatment over steel, not raw oxidised metal, so it will not continue to rust or shed colour onto surrounding surfaces.

What bulbs does it take?

The Argi takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W each and 2700K-3000K for ambient and reading light.

Is the Argi dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not include dimming controls — dimming must be controlled at the wall switch or inline dimmer.

How is the taupe shade cleaned?

The fabric shade attracts dust over time. Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low suction, or a lint roller for light surface dust. Avoid water or fabric sprays, which may stain or discolour the taupe weave.

Is the brown oxide finish weathered metal?

No. The brown oxide finish is a powder-coated treatment over steel, designed to resemble aged metal. It will not continue to rust, flake or transfer colour onto floors or walls.
