Description

The Arco is an 850mm linear flush ceiling light carrying six G9 bulbs behind frosted cylindrical diffusers, mounted on a satin nickel bar. The fitting projects just 50mm from the ceiling, making it a practical choice for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, galley kitchens, and living rooms with lower ceilings, the linear arrangement distributes light evenly along its 85cm length rather than concentrating it at a single point. Each diffuser sits on the bar at approximately 14cm intervals, creating a rhythm that works in narrow spaces where a single large fitting would feel disproportionate. The satin nickel finish provides a soft metallic tone that sits comfortably between polished chrome and brushed steel.

The frosted glass diffusers soften the light output from the G9 bulbs, reducing glare while still providing functional general illumination. The fitting accepts dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs (sold separately), with a maximum total load of 240W across all six sockets. The flush mounting plate fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose, with the bar and diffusers assembled on the plate after installation.

The Arco takes six G9 bulbs with a maximum combined load of 240W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for efficient general lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED or halogen dimmer. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer switch.
