This table runner is a digitally printed polyester piece measuring 35 x 220cm, long enough to carry the length of most dining tables with a little fall at each end. The print pairs a soft botanical ground with a scalloped border in coral and terracotta, and a cluster of peaches on the branch anchors each end. It is a Jacobean-inspired floral treatment, so the pattern reads as a heritage design rather than a literal fruit study, and the colours sit in a warm, faded register against the pale ground.

At 220cm it suits a table that seats six to eight comfortably, running down the centre and leaving room for place settings on either side. Being polyester and water resistant, it earns its keep outdoors as much as in: a garden brunch, a patio lunch or a dinner laid out on the terrace.
