Description

The Knightsbridge 1MCOR is a 1m aluminium corner-mount LED profile designed to house LED strip tape up to 10mm wide behind an opal diffuser. The 45-degree angled profile fixes to internal corners where two surfaces meet (such as under-cabinet to wall, or shelf underside to cabinet side), positioning the LED strip at an angle rather than flat.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting, shelf lighting, and architectural accent lighting in kitchens, retail display units and media furniture, the corner-mount configuration directs light outward at an angle from the corner joint. The opal diffuser softens the individual LED diodes into a continuous light line and prevents point-source glare. Two mounting clips secure the 1m profile along its length, with further clips available separately for longer runs or uneven surfaces.

The profile is supplied with the opal diffuser installed, two end caps to close the profile neatly at each end, and two mounting clips. The matt silver aluminium finish provides heat dissipation for the LED strip and blends into metal shelf brackets, aluminium kitchen plinths and light-toned cabinetry. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only — not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor installations or locations where moisture is present.

What width LED strip does it take?

The profile accepts LED strip tape up to 10mm wide. Standard 8mm and 10mm single-row LED strips fit without modification. The strip sits on the angled bed of the profile behind the diffuser.

How is it fixed to the surface?

The profile is surface-mounted using two included metal mounting clips that screw into the corner joint where two surfaces meet. The profile then clips into the mounted brackets. Additional clips are available separately (product code 1MCORCAP) for runs longer than 1m or where extra support is needed.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the profile is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, wet rooms, outdoor installations or any location where moisture or steam is present.

What's included in the pack?

Each 1m profile includes the aluminium channel, one opal diffuser (pre-installed), two end caps to close the profile at each end, and two mounting clips with fixings. LED strip tape is sold separately.
