Description

The Alton is a 674mm brushed brass picture light with an integrated 11.6W LED strip housed inside a tubular arm that pivots on a circular wall-mounted backplate. The LED casts 3000K warm white light downwards onto artwork, with the adjustable arm allowing the light to be angled to suit frame depth and wall position without creating reflections on glazed prints or oil paintings.

Designed for artwork between 600-900mm wide, the Alton suits living rooms, hallways, home galleries and dining rooms where framed prints, paintings or photographs need dedicated illumination. The 211mm projection from the wall keeps the light clear of standard 40-60mm frame depths, while the 169mm height positions the LED strip above the top edge of most horizontal artworks. The backplate fixes to standard UK wall plugs and conceals the cable entry point.

The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with gold frames, warm-toned interiors and traditional or contemporary gallery walls. The brushed surface reduces reflections compared to polished brass, so the fitting remains visible but doesn't compete with the artwork for attention. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement and draws 11.6W on 230V mains, providing consistent colour rendering across the life of the fitting.
