Description

The Alfa is an 80cm chandelier built around eight G9 bulbs, each housed in a faceted optical crystal glass shade set on polished brass arms that radiate from a central knot. The arms extend outward in a geometric star formation, with the metal twisting at the centre to create a sculptural focal point. Each crystal shade is precision-cut with multiple facets that catch and refract light, casting prismatic reflections across walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Alfa works best suspended centrally above a table or in an open space where the full 80cm width can be appreciated from multiple angles. The drop is adjustable between 440mm and 680mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-850mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The polished brass arms and canopy bring warmth to both neutral and richly coloured interiors, while the clear glass keeps the overall aesthetic light and open.

The brass frame carries a mirror-polished finish that reflects surrounding light and develops a natural patina over time unless regularly polished. At 7.7kg, the chandelier requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced rose capable of supporting the weight. The eight G9 bulbs (sold separately) allow for flexible light output depending on the wattage chosen, with a maximum combined load of 320W. Dimmer-compatible G9 LED bulbs are recommended for control over light levels during dining and entertaining.
