Description

The Alexandra is a 78cm diameter crystal chandelier built around four descending spiral layers that house a total of 49 E14 bulbs. Each layer is formed from multiple strands of faceted crystal beads arranged in a continuous helix pattern, creating a tall vertical cascade suspended from a polished chrome canopy and chain. The crystals refract light from all 49 bulb positions, multiplying the light output across the vertical drop.

Designed for grand hallways, double-height entrance halls, stairwells and dining rooms with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Alexandra requires a minimum 2.68m drop from ceiling to the base of the lowest crystal tier. The chain is adjustable up to 5.68m total drop on installation, allowing the chandelier to be positioned appropriately for taller voids. The 78cm diameter and 44.65kg weight require secure ceiling mounting into joists or structural fixings, not standard plasterboard roses.

The polished chrome frame runs through the centre of the crystal spiral, acting as both structural support and a reflective core that bounces additional light through the surrounding crystal strands. The four-tier spiral construction means the chandelier presents differently from every viewing angle as the helical layers overlap and shift perspective when you move around the space. Each crystal strand is individually threaded onto the chrome support wires, so the crystals can be removed for cleaning or replaced if damaged.

The Alexandra takes 49 E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 20W each, sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 3W-6W and 2700K-3000K, which provides sufficient light output without the heat build-up and running costs of 49 halogen bulbs.
