Description

The AKITA ceiling light brings a sculptural, layered face to the ceiling, its overlapping petal-like panels creating a soft 3D effect across a 48cm square surface. An integrated LED array delivers 6550 lumens with a selectable colour temperature from 3000K warm white through to 6500K cool white, so the room can shift from cosy to crisp as the moment calls for it. A CRI of Ra 80 keeps everyday colours natural.

At just 5.5cm high, it sits close to the ceiling and suits a modern kitchen where headroom is tight and a clean overhead light is wanted. The wide spread and 56W output cover open worktops and dining areas alike.

Built from metal in a matt white finish, AKITA is surface-mounted and comes with a remote control for adjusting brightness and light colour. It is dimmable, and an integrated switch dimmer steps brightness through 100%, 50% and 25% using a standard wall switch. A memory function recalls the last setting.

It is surface-mounted directly to the ceiling. At 5.5cm high it is well suited to lower ceilings.

Can I change the light colour and brightness?

Yes. The colour temperature is selectable from 3000K to 6500K, and both brightness and light colour can be set using the included remote control.

How does the dimming work?

It is dimmable via the remote, and an integrated switch dimmer also steps brightness through 100%, 50% and 25% using a conventional wall switch, with a memory function to recall your last setting.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

It carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry indoor spaces such as kitchens rather than wet areas.
