Description

The Aeris is a 70cm sculptural chandelier built from tiered sheets of Cristalflex and Lentiflex polymer in white, arranged in a cascading silhouette that widens at the canopy and tapers into ribbon-like fronds at the base. Five LED sources sit at the centre: four 12W E27 lamps surrounding a central 11W LED spot, throwing light outwards through the layered fronds and downwards through the lower fringe.

At 115cm tall and 19kg in weight, the Aeris is sized for double-height entrance halls, stairwells, large dining rooms and open-plan voids with a ceiling height of 3m or above. The 150cm cable allows the fitting to be hung at varying drops on installation, and the wider 70cm canopy form means it reads as a sculptural object from below rather than a flat ceiling-mounted disc. Standard E27 lamps make replacement straightforward.

The two polymers behave differently under light: Cristalflex is transparent and carries the light through cleanly, while Lentiflex has a textured surface that scatters and softens the output. Layered together in concentric tiers, they produce a dappled, broken light pattern on surrounding walls and ceilings rather than a single hard pool on the floor below. The all-white palette keeps the fitting visually quiet when unlit, then comes alive as a glowing volume when switched on.
