Description

The Aeris is a 70cm-wide tiered chandelier built from layered black Cristalflex and Lentiflex sheets, with a total drop of 115cm from canopy to lowest fin. Five LED sources sit at the core: four 12W E27 LEDs providing the main light output and one central 11W spot LED that throws a directed beam down through the cascading lower tiers. The black sheets are translucent under load, glowing internally rather than blocking light entirely.

The fitting suits double-height entrance halls, stairwells and contemporary dining rooms with ceiling heights of around 3m or more, where the full 115cm vertical form can hang clear of head height. The 150cm cable allows the chandelier to be set lower in taller voids or shortened on installation. Three suspension wires share the 19kg load, so the ceiling fixing must be rated accordingly and a structural joist or appropriate brace fixing is required.

Up close, the construction reads as a stack of laser-precise concentric rings on the upper drum, fanning out into long ribbon-like fins that taper towards the floor. The black finish gives the silhouette graphic weight against pale ceilings and walls, while the layered fins create overlapping shadow patterns on surrounding surfaces when lit. Cristalflex is a tough optical-grade thermoplastic, and Lentiflex is the textured ribbed sheet that produces the prismatic light play across the fins.

Operating voltage is 110-220V, making the fitting compatible with UK mains and most international supplies. The Aeris is supplied with a two-year warranty.
