Description
This addressable LED strip puts individual control into a single-tone white run, with each diode or segment driven separately by a compatible controller for chasing, sequenced and dynamic white effects. In US terms an LED tape light of this kind, it draws 11W per metre and gives 1150 lumens per metre in a Cool White 4000K tone, with strong Ra90 colour rendering across the line. The flexible reel measures 5 metres and cuts to length at marked points every 10cm, so the run can be sized to the space.
Indoors, the per-pixel control suits cove and ceiling perimeters, shelving, display joinery, gaming setups and signage where animated or stepped white sequences are wanted rather than flat illumination. Because each segment can be addressed, coverage is best judged by the line you want lit and the effect you are after, not by a fixed floor area. With an IP00 rating the strip is for dry indoor positions only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, damp utility areas and any outdoor location.
The strip runs on a 24V DC supply, so it is not mains-direct and needs a matching 24V LED driver and a compatible addressable controller, sized to the total wattage of the length used. Rated for 30,000 hours and cuttable at the 10cm intervals marked on the reel, it solders or connects at those points for joining and extending. The reel weighs 88g and ships as a single white addressable tape; matching drivers and controllers are available across the range.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It runs on 24V DC, not mains voltage, so it needs a matching 24V LED driver sized to the wattage of the length you install. For the per-pixel effects you also need a compatible addressable controller.
Can it be cut to length?
Yes. The 5 metre reel can be cut at the marked points every 10cm. Only cut at those marked intervals, then connect or solder the cut end to continue or join a run.
Is it suitable for outdoor or bathroom use?
No. This strip is rated IP00, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor location.
Is this a colour-changing strip?
No. It is a single-tone Cool White 4000K strip with per-pixel control, so you can run chasing and sequenced effects in white light only. It does not change between colours.
