The Acanto is an 84cm diameter chandelier with nine curved polished chrome arms radiating from a central sculpted column, each arm supporting a clear crystal pan beneath a black silk clip-on shade. The fitting takes nine E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) and the drop is adjustable between 940mm and 1690mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be tailored to ceiling heights between 2.6m and 3.4m.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms where ceiling space allows for an 84cm spread, the Acanto combines traditional chandelier architecture with contemporary material choices. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient daylight and contrasts with the black fabric shades, which soften the direct light output from the bulbs while allowing warm light to escape downward and through the shade apertures. The crystal pans below each shade refract light across the room when the chandelier is lit.

The nine-arm configuration distributes light evenly across a 2.5-3.5m diameter area, making the fitting suitable for dining tables seating 8-10 people or central positions in entrance halls measuring 4m x 4m or larger. Each crystal pan is faceted to catch and scatter light, and the curved arm geometry gives the chandelier visual movement without overwhelming the space. The 8.5kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings rated for chandelier installation.

The black silk shades clip onto each bulb holder, allowing them to be removed for cleaning or replaced if worn. Mantra manufactures the Acanto in Spain, and the fitting carries a 1-year warranty.
