Description

The Knightsbridge 9W LED striplight is a 538mm under-cabinet or cove fitting with an integrated LED delivering 640 lumens of 3000K warm white light through an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The fitting measures 22.8mm wide by 36mm deep, sitting flush under cabinets or against walls in kitchens, wardrobes, retail shelving and alcoves. Each unit includes a 2m power cord, coupler connector and fixing clips for direct mains installation without external drivers.

Designed for continuous runs, the striplight links end-to-end with other units in the same range using the supplied coupler or optional link leads, with up to 12 fittings permitted on a single circuit. Each fitting switches independently, allowing sections of a run to be controlled separately if wired to separate switches. The slim white polycarbonate body mounts horizontally under cabinets or vertically in alcoves using the included clips, with the 145-degree beam angle providing wide light distribution across worktops and shelving.

The integrated LED is rated at 9W with an efficacy of 107.1 lumens per watt, translating to low running costs for always-on task lighting in kitchens and commercial spaces. The opal diffuser softens the LED into an even wash rather than visible hotspots. The fitting carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and a Class II double-insulated construction that does not require an earth connection. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that pairs well with timber worktops, cream walls and residential interiors where cooler tones would feel clinical.

Up to 12 units can be connected in a single continuous run using the supplied coupler connectors or optional link leads. Each fitting draws 9W at 230V, so 12 units draw approximately 108W total on the circuit.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED does not support dimming. If dimming is required, consider a separate dimmable LED driver model or a different fitting in the Knightsbridge range.

Can it be mounted vertically?

Yes. The striplight mounts both horizontally under cabinets and vertically in alcoves or against walls using the included fixing clips. The 145-degree beam angle provides wide coverage in either orientation.
