Description

The Knightsbridge 9W LED Linkable Striplight is a 538mm white polycarbonate under-cabinet light with adjustable colour temperature switching between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white. A push-button control on the fitting cycles through the three colour modes, and the built-in memory chip retains the last setting when the power is switched off and on again, so the light returns to the same temperature on each use.

Designed for kitchen under-cabinet lighting, display shelving, workshop task lighting and utility rooms, the striplight mounts via the supplied fixing clips or adhesive pads. The 2m mains lead connects to a standard UK 230V socket or can be hard-wired into a fused spur. Up to 20 units can be linked together using the supplied coupler or optional linking leads, with each unit independently switchable via its own push-button despite being wired in series. This allows sections of a linked run to be turned on or off without affecting the rest of the circuit.

The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the LED output evenly along the 538mm length, producing 685-690 lumens depending on the colour temperature selected (675 lumens at 6500K, 685 lumens at 3000K, 690 lumens at 4000K). The Class II double-insulated construction requires no earth connection, simplifying installation in older properties or metal-framed cabinetry. The striplight sits 36mm from the wall when mounted and has a 22.8mm width, fitting into shallow cabinet plinths and recesses where taller battens would not fit. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry indoor locations.
