Description
A 5m reel of flexible LED tape, 10mm across and finished in white so it disappears against pale shelves and cabinet undersides. The light is 4000K, a neutral white that reads clean and crisp rather than cosy, and the diodes sit close together along the reel for a continuous line rather than a row of visible dots. Output is fixed, so it switches straight on and off with no dimmer in the circuit.
We reach for tape like this where the light should come from somewhere you cannot see: under kitchen wall units onto a worktop, behind the front edge of open shelving, inside a wardrobe, or above a run of tall cupboards to wash the ceiling. The neutral tone suits kitchens, utility rooms, home offices and hobby benches, anywhere accuracy matters more than atmosphere, and it pairs well with white paint and grey stone. It is unsealed, so keep it to dry rooms and clear of basins, showers and anything that splashes.
The tape is flexible along its length, so it will follow a shelf edge or the shallow curve of a cove without fuss. It runs on low voltage and needs a driver to feed it, which we sell separately; work out the load for the length you are using before you choose one. When it needs cleaning, isolate the supply, then draw a dry cloth gently along the face of the tape and leave the contacts untouched. It carries a three year warranty. The wider range gives you the same width in warmer colour temperatures and in denser, brighter versions, plus sealed tape for less forgiving spots, so one scheme can run task light in the kitchen and softer light in the living room.

Frequently Asked
How many LEDs does it have, and how much power does it use?
There are 60 diodes in every metre, drawing 9.6W per metre, with a system output of around 803 lumens.
Is a driver supplied?
No. It needs a 24V constant voltage driver, bought separately. The full 5m reel draws about 48W, so choose a driver with some headroom above that figure.
Can it be dimmed?
No, this one is non-dimmable, so control it with a standard switch rather than a dimmer.
Will it work in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. This version is unsealed and suits dry indoor positions only. The range includes sealed tape for damper or more exposed locations.
How does 4000K compare with the other options in the range?
At 4000K the light is a neutral, slightly crisp white that shows colours and detail well. The 3000K and 2700K versions in the range are progressively warmer and better suited to relaxed living spaces.
How long should it last?
The diodes are rated at 30,000 hours of average life.
