Description

This is a solderless connector for joining 8mm-wide single-colour LED strip, supplied as a 2 pack. The code CON P 8 marks it as a push-fit clip-on link rated for 12V DC strip and measuring 17mm long (17.5 x 10 x 5 mm overall). It lets two strip sections, or a strip and its feed cable, be joined without soldering by clamping over the copper contact pads.

Use it where a run has been cut to length and needs reconnecting, or to bridge a gap around a corner or obstacle. Being IP20, it is for dry indoor positions such as under cabinets, shelving and cove detailing, not damp or outdoor locations. Match the connector to the strip width (8mm) and voltage (12V DC) before fitting. We also stock the matching 12V LED strip, the drivers that power it and the aluminium profiles to mount it in.
