Description

The Knightsbridge 4W LED striplight delivers 360 lumens of 4000K cool white light through a 277mm polycarbonate housing with an opal diffuser. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains via a 2m power cord fitted with a coupler that allows up to 12 fittings to be linked in series from a single power source. An independent rocker switch on the housing provides on/off control without needing to access the mains supply.

Designed for under-cabinet task lighting in kitchens, utility rooms, workshops and retail display shelving, the striplight mounts horizontally or vertically using the clips supplied in the box. The 22.8mm width and 36mm projection fit into standard cabinet profiles without intruding on shelf space. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact. The 4000K cool white temperature provides clear, neutral task light that renders colours accurately for food preparation, product display and detailed work.

The Class II double-insulated construction removes the need for an earth connection during installation, simplifying wiring in older properties or cabinets without metal frames. The polycarbonate housing resists impact better than acrylic alternatives and the opal diffuser conceals the LED strip behind it, preventing visible hot-spotting. Up to 12 fittings can be linked in series from a single power source using the coupler supplied with each striplight. This allows runs up to approximately 3.3m in length when using all 277mm units.

Is the striplight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at fixed 4W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches or controls.

Can it be used in bathrooms or near sinks?

The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor locations. It is not rated for use in zones near water sources such as bathroom sinks, showers or outdoor locations.
