Description

The Knightsbridge 45A DP switch is a single-gang double-pole isolator designed for high-current applications such as cookers, showers and electric boilers. The switch uses a bright red rocker marked 'ON' to provide clear visual indication of the circuit state, set into a white thermoset resin faceplate with gently rounded edges and a 7mm contoured profile.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the switch fits a standard 35mm minimum back box depth and includes screw cap covers to conceal the fixing screws once installed. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the switch is off, providing complete circuit isolation for appliances requiring maintenance or replacement. The 45A rating handles loads up to 10,350W at 230V, comfortably covering typical UK cooker and shower installations.
