The Knightsbridge SN4DIM is a 4-gang dimmer plate in white thermoset resin, supplied unpopulated with four matching dimmer caps and screw cap covers. The plate accepts Knightsbridge modular dimmer modules or compatible third-party dimmer modules, allowing installers to build a custom dimming solution to match the specific load requirements of each circuit.

Designed for residential and light commercial installation where multiple lighting circuits need independent dimming control from a single wall position, the plate suits living rooms with separate ceiling, wall and accent lighting circuits, or hotel rooms and serviced apartments where bedside, desk and overhead lighting are controlled from one panel. The 146mm width fits a standard 2-gang back box with a 4-gang plate conversion spacer.

The thermoset resin construction resists impact, heat and discolouration better than standard thermoplastic plates, and carries anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial growth on high-touch surfaces in healthcare, hospitality and residential settings. What back box is required?

A standard 2-gang 25mm back box with a 4-gang conversion spacer is required. The 146mm plate width spans the same horizontal distance as a standard 2-gang plate, but the conversion spacer provides the additional mounting points for four modules.
