Description

This is a Profile C aluminium channel for LED strip, supplied as a 10 pack of 2 metre lengths. Each length measures 2000 × 20 × 16 mm in anodised aluminium alloy, giving a tidy housing that an LED strip sits inside while a diffuser clips over the top to soften the line of light. The channel itself is passive and does not light up; it simply holds and protects the strip behind its cover.

Type C is a surface-mounted profile, fixed flat to a wall, shelf, cabinet or worktop underside to run the strip in a neat, straight line. The anodised finish resists marking and the aluminium body helps draw heat away from the strip along its length. We also stock matching diffusers, end caps and the LED strip that fits inside, so a full run can be built up from one place.

What strip width does this profile fit?

The internal channel of this Profile C section accepts standard flexible LED strip up to its inner width. Check your strip measures comfortably within the 20 mm outer profile before fitting, allowing room for the diffuser to seat over the top.

Is it surface-mounted or recessed?

Type C is a surface-mounted profile. It fixes flat onto a wall, shelf or cabinet face rather than dropping into a routed groove, which makes it quick to install on a finished surface.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The aluminium channel can be cut down with a fine-tooth saw or mitre saw to suit your run, then deburred. Each pack gives ten 2 metre lengths to join or trim as needed.

Does it come with a diffuser and end caps?

This listing is for the aluminium channel only. We stock matching diffusers and end caps separately so you can choose the cover finish and close off each run neatly.
