Description

This is a 2m transparent diffuser cover for LED profile channels, referenced CK C D E FR 2M. Made from clear plastic, it clips over the open face of a matching aluminium profile so an LED strip can sit behind it. The cover spreads the light from the strip into a more even line and shields the diodes from view, while the channel itself does the mounting and heat work. At 2m it cuts down with a fine saw to suit shorter runs along a shelf, worktop or cove.

The transparent finish passes the most light through, making it a good match where brightness matters more than a fully frosted, dot-free look. It pushes into the channel lip and is held by the profile, so no adhesive is needed. We also stock frosted and opal diffusers, matching end caps and mounting clips, plus the LED strip that fits inside the channel behind this cover.

Can the 2m diffuser be cut to length?

Yes. The 2m length can be trimmed with a fine-tooth saw or a sharp blade to suit shorter runs. Cut it to match the channel and tidy the edge before clipping it in.

Does the transparent cover need glue or screws?

No. It pushes into the channel lip and is held in place by the profile, so no adhesive or fixings are required. It can be eased back out if you need to access the strip.

Is a clear or frosted diffuser better?

A transparent cover lets through the most light and suits brighter task runs, while a frosted or opal cover hides the individual diodes for a smoother line. Choose to suit your application and viewing angle.
