Description

The Ck 2M is a 2m surface-mount profile channel that houses an LED strip for a neat, contained run. Decoded as a Ck 2M length, it gives a 2 metre track that holds the strip in place and lets a diffuser sit over the top, so the diodes are hidden and the line of light reads as a soft, continuous strip rather than visible dots. The channel itself is passive, finished in white to blend into the surface it mounts to.

Made in a white plastic finish, it surface-mounts to ceilings, walls, shelving or cabinet edges and takes the LED strip behind a clip-in diffuser cover. The 2m length can be cut down to suit shorter runs, and several lengths can be lined up for a longer continuous effect. We also stock matching diffusers, end caps and the LED strip that fits inside, so you can complete the run from one place.

It is sized to hold a standard flexible LED strip behind the diffuser. Check your strip's width against the channel's internal recess before fitting to make sure it seats cleanly.

Is this a surface or recessed channel?

This is a surface-mount profile. It fixes onto the face of a ceiling, wall, shelf or cabinet edge rather than dropping into a routed groove.

Can the 2m length be cut down?

Yes. The profile can be cut to length to suit your run, and shorter offcuts can be reused. Cut between the strip's marked points if you are trimming the strip to match.

Does the diffuser come with it?

Check the listed contents for what is supplied. We stock matching diffusers and end caps separately so you can finish the channel and cap the ends neatly.
