Description

This is a Type G aluminium profile supplied in 2m lengths, decoded from the article code PROFILO G 2M. Each channel measures 2000 × 15.8 × 13.7 mm and is made from anodised aluminium alloy, giving a clean recessed track that an LED strip seats inside. The profile itself is passive hardware and does not light up; it holds the strip in place behind a diffuser, hides the diodes and spreads their output into an even line. The low 13.7 mm depth suits surface mounting along shelving, worktop edges, cabinetry and joinery runs.

Supplied as a 5 pack, this gives 10m of channel in total, enough for several runs or one longer outline cut to length on site. The anodised finish resists marking and tones with most metal fittings. We also stock matching diffusers, end caps and the LED strip that fits inside, so you can build a complete run.

The internal channel of the Type G profile accepts standard flexible LED strip up to around 12 mm wide. Check your strip width against the channel before fitting to confirm a snug seat.
