Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24RGB1M is a 1-metre RGB LED strip light running on 24V DC, with 36 x 5050 SMD LEDs per metre mounted on a 10mm-wide flexible circuit board. The strip produces colour-changing light controlled via a separate RGB controller and remote (sold separately), allowing the user to switch between red, green, blue and mixed colours including white combinations.
Designed for indoor accent lighting, the strip is rated IP20 for dry locations only and suits alcove lighting, under-cabinet installations, shelf lighting, wardrobe interiors, and feature wall backlighting. The 1.8mm profile sits flat against surfaces and comes with 3M self-adhesive tape on the back for tool-free installation onto clean, dry surfaces. The strip can be cut to length every 166mm at marked cut points, allowing precise fitting to alcove and cabinet dimensions.
The 24V supply voltage allows runs of up to 10 metres from a single driver before voltage drop affects brightness, making this strip more suitable for longer runs than 12V equivalents. Each metre draws 9W, so a 1-metre strip requires a minimum 10W 24V constant voltage driver to operate. Knightsbridge produces matching drivers, RGB controllers, IR remotes, connectors and aluminium profiles for this strip (all sold separately at Niori).
The RGB functionality requires both a 24V driver and an RGB controller to operate. The controller sits between the driver and the strip, receiving commands from an infrared remote and translating them into red, green and blue channel outputs. Without the controller the strip will not light. Knightsbridge's RGB controllers support static colours, colour transitions, speed adjustment and brightness dimming depending on the model selected.

Frequently Asked
What else do I need to make this work?
You need a 24V constant voltage driver (minimum 10W for a 1-metre strip), an RGB controller, and an infrared remote. None of these are included with the strip. Knightsbridge produces matching components available separately at Niori.
Can the strip be cut to size?
Yes. The strip has marked cut points every 166mm along its length. Cutting at these points allows you to fit the strip precisely to alcove or cabinet dimensions without damaging the circuit.
What's the maximum run length?
10 metres from a single 24V driver. Beyond 10 metres, voltage drop causes noticeable brightness loss at the far end of the run. For installations longer than 10m, run separate power feeds from additional drivers.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip is for dry indoor locations only. For bathrooms (zones 2 and 3) or outdoor installations, you need an IP65 or IP67-rated strip.
