Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24R is a 24V red LED strip light supplied on a 50m reel, featuring 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre on an 8mm-wide flexible PCB. The strip draws 4.8W per metre and emits 90 lumens per metre of red light, creating ambient accent lighting for internal installations such as under-counter kitchen lighting, shelf lighting, alcove illumination, and display case highlighting.
Designed for 24V DC constant-voltage operation, the strip requires an external 24V LED driver sized to the total run length (up to a maximum continuous run of 20m before voltage drop affects output). The strip is IP20 rated for dry internal environments only and cannot be used outdoors or in bathrooms. The flexible PCB allows it to bend around gentle curves and be routed through tight spaces, while 3M self-adhesive backing tape on the reverse allows direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces.
The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked cutting points along the PCB, allowing precise fitting to alcoves, shelves and cabinetry without waste. Red LED output is particularly useful for mood lighting, home cinema applications where red preserves night vision, and signage or display work where a specific colour accent is required. The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V dimmer and driver combination.
The 50m reel provides enough material for multiple runs across a large residential or light commercial project. For installations requiring shorter lengths, Knightsbridge offers a cutting service (Flex Cut) allowing purchase of custom lengths rather than the full reel.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this strip need?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. Size the driver to the total wattage of your run: multiply the run length in metres by 4.8W. For example, a 10m run draws 48W and requires a driver rated at least 55-60W to allow headroom.
Can I cut the strip to a specific length?
Yes. The strip can be cut every 100mm at marked cutting points along the PCB. Cutting at any other point will damage the circuit and render that section unusable.
Is this strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a compatible 24V dimmer and driver. The dimmer sits between the mains supply and the driver, or between the driver and the strip, depending on the dimmer type. Check compatibility before purchase.
Can this be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be used in dry internal locations away from water and high humidity.
