Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24DL3M is a 24V LED strip light supplying 6000K daylight white light over a 3m length. The strip measures 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with 60 SMD LEDs per metre delivering 530 lumens per metre at 4.8W per metre. A self-adhesive 3M backing tape runs the length of the strip, allowing it to be mounted directly onto clean, dry surfaces without additional fixings.

Designed for internal installation only (IP20 rating), the strip suits under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, cove lighting around ceilings, shelf edge lighting in retail or display cases, and indirect accent lighting in home offices or workshops where crisp daylight white light is needed. The 6000K colour temperature matches natural daylight, making it appropriate for task lighting where colour rendering matters. The strip can be cut to length at 100mm intervals, allowing it to be fitted to exact measurements without waste.

The strip requires a separate 24V constant voltage driver (sold separately) and is dimmable when paired with compatible dimming control gear. Maximum continuous run length is 20m — longer installations require additional power injection points to maintain consistent brightness. The 120-degree beam angle gives wide, even light distribution without visible hot spots when mounted behind diffusers or in aluminium profiles. The Class III rating means the strip operates on extra-low voltage (24V DC) and does not require earthing.

Knightsbridge produces this strip in multiple lengths (1m, 3m, 5m, 50m reels) and offers a full range of compatible drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles to complete an installation. The L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours indicates the point at which 50% of LEDs will have degraded to 70% of initial output, equating to approximately 6 years of continuous use or 15+ years at 10 hours per day.

What driver do I need?

This strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver. For a 3m length at 4.8W per metre, the total load is 14.4W — a 20W or 30W driver would be appropriate with headroom for safe operation. Knightsbridge drivers are available separately at Niori.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. The strip can be cut at marked intervals every 100mm (10cm) without damaging the circuit. Cutting at other points will damage the LEDs in that section.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and appropriate dimming control gear (0-10V, PWM or phase-dimming controller depending on driver type). The strip itself does not include dimming circuitry.

Can it be used outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating means the strip is not protected against moisture ingress and is suitable for internal dry locations only. Knightsbridge produces IP65 and IP67 variants for outdoor or bathroom installation.
