Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24CW is a 24V LED strip light running 60 SMD LEDs per metre along a 3-metre continuous length, outputting 525lm per metre at 4000K cool white. The 8mm-wide flexible PCB carries 2835-style surface-mount diodes behind a silicone housing, giving a 120-degree beam spread across the entire run. The strip draws 4.8W per metre and requires a 24V constant voltage driver (sold separately) to operate.

Designed for internal installations where subtle linear lighting is needed without visible bulbs or fittings, the strip suits under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, cove lighting around ceilings, shelving accent lighting and architectural detailing in commercial or residential interiors. The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal environments only. The strip can be cut to length at 100mm intervals, allowing precise fitting into alcoves, wardrobes and display cases without wasted material. A 3M self-adhesive backing allows the strip to be fixed directly onto clean, dry surfaces without additional mounting hardware.

The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral, slightly cool white light that sits between warm residential lighting (2700-3000K) and clinical task lighting (5000K+), making it suitable for workspaces, bathrooms, and modern kitchens where clarity matters more than warmth. The strip is dimmable when paired with appropriate PWM or analogue dimming drivers. Maximum continuous run length is 20 metres before voltage drop affects brightness — longer installations need multiple driver circuits. Knightsbridge offers matching drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles separately.

What driver does this strip need?

It requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver. For the full 3m length drawing 14.4W total (4.8W per metre), a driver rated at 20W minimum gives headroom. Knightsbridge and other manufacturers offer compatible drivers sold separately at Niori.

Can it be cut to a specific length?

Yes. The strip has cut marks every 100mm (10cm), allowing it to be trimmed to exact lengths needed for shelves, cabinets and alcoves. Cutting outside these marks damages the circuit.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means it has no moisture protection, so it cannot be installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 where it would be exposed to water spray. It can be used in zone 3 (outside the shower enclosure, more than 600mm from a bath) or in areas with no direct water contact.

How is the strip dimmed?

Dimming depends on the driver used. PWM (pulse-width modulation) drivers allow the strip to be dimmed via compatible LED controllers or wall dimmers. Analogue 0-10V drivers also work. Standard mains dimmers will not work directly with this low-voltage strip.
