Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLDL1M is a 1m length of 24V LED strip light producing 1250 lumens per metre at a 6000K daylight colour temperature. The strip carries 128 surface-mounted 2835 SMD LEDs per metre on an 8mm-wide flexible PCB that draws 9.6W per metre and runs on 24V DC constant voltage supply.

Designed for internal applications where bright, cool-toned task lighting or accent lighting is required, the strip suits under-cabinet installation in kitchens, workshops and garages, cove lighting along ceilings, shelf edge-lighting in retail displays, and indirect architectural wash lighting. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only. The strip can be cut to exact length at 62.5mm intervals marked on the PCB, allowing precise fitting to alcoves, shelving and cabinet runs without waste.

The strip comes with 3M self-adhesive backing applied to the reverse side, allowing it to be pressed onto clean, dry surfaces without additional fixing. The 1.2mm thickness keeps the strip low-profile when installed inside aluminium profiles or mounted directly to surfaces. Maximum continuous run length is 10m before voltage drop affects brightness — longer runs require power injection at intervals or separate driver circuits.

The strip requires a separate 24V constant voltage LED driver (sold separately). Dimming capability depends on pairing the strip with a dimmable driver and compatible control gear — the LEDs themselves support PWM dimming when the correct components are used. What power supply does this strip require?

The strip runs on 24V DC constant voltage. A separate LED driver is required (sold separately). For a 1m length drawing 9.6W, a driver rated at 15W or higher provides headroom. Longer runs require proportionally higher-rated drivers — a 5m run would need a 50W+ driver.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. Cut points are marked on the PCB every 62.5mm. Cutting at these points preserves circuit integrity and allows precise fitting to cabinet or shelf lengths. Cuts outside the marked intervals will damage the strip.

Is this strip dimmable?

The LEDs support dimming when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and compatible PWM dimming controller. The strip itself does not include dimming circuitry — dimming capability depends entirely on the driver and control gear chosen.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the strip has no protection against moisture or dust ingress. It is suitable only for dry indoor environments. Knightsbridge produces IP67-rated LED strip for wet or outdoor applications — contact us if you need a weather-resistant alternative.
