Description
The Knightsbridge 24V high lumen LED strip light delivers 1250 lumens per metre at 6000K daylight white across a 5-metre continuous run. The strip uses 128 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre mounted on an 8mm-wide flexible PCB with a self-adhesive 3M backing tape, drawing 9.6W per metre from a 24V DC constant voltage driver (sold separately).
Designed for under-cabinet lighting, shelving displays, cove lighting and task lighting where bright cool-white illumination is needed, the strip can be cut to length at marked 62.5mm intervals to suit the exact installation run. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only — bathrooms, outdoor installations and damp zones require IP-rated variants. The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer and 24V driver, allowing output adjustment from full brightness down to low ambient levels.
The 6000K colour temperature produces a crisp daylight white similar to north-facing natural light at midday, making it suited to workshops, garages, technical workspaces and kitchen task lighting where colour accuracy matters. The 120° beam angle gives even spread across worktops and shelves without visible LED hotspots when installed inside aluminium profiles with diffusers (profiles sold separately). At 151.5 lumens per watt the strip achieves energy rating D and carries a 3-year warranty.
Maximum continuous run is 10 metres — longer installations require power injection at each 10m segment to prevent voltage drop and dimming at the far end of the strip. Knightsbridge produces this LED strip in 1m, 3m, 5m and 30m reel lengths, plus a range of compatible drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles sold separately.

Frequently Asked
What driver do I need for this LED strip?
You need a 24V DC constant voltage LED driver rated for at least 48W to run the full 5m length (9.6W/m × 5m = 48W). Knightsbridge and other manufacturers produce compatible drivers sold separately at Niori. For dimming, pair with a suitable LED dimmer compatible with 24V DC low-voltage strips.
Can the strip be cut to a specific length?
Yes. The strip has marked cut points every 62.5mm along its length. Cut only at these marked points with sharp scissors to avoid damaging the circuit. Each cut section contains multiple LEDs and will function independently when connected to a 24V supply.
Is this suitable for bathroom or outdoor use?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip has no protection against moisture and is for dry indoor use only. Bathrooms require IP65-rated LED strip as a minimum, and outdoor installations need IP67 or IP68 depending on exposure. Knightsbridge produces IP-rated variants in the same LED flex range.
What is the maximum run length before I need to add power?
10 metres is the maximum continuous run from a single power connection point. Longer installations will experience voltage drop and dimming towards the far end of the strip. For runs over 10m, connect a second power supply at the 10m mark or use parallel wiring to inject power at multiple points.
