Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24HLCW5M is a 5m reel of 24V LED strip delivering 1300 lumens per metre at 4000K cool white. Each metre of the 8mm-wide strip carries 128 surface-mount 2835 SMD LEDs drawing 9.6W, giving an efficacy of 148.6 lumens per watt. The strip arrives on a self-adhesive backing for installation into profiles, under cabinets, coves and architectural recesses.
Designed for internal installation where IP20 protection is sufficient, the strip suits kitchens, offices, retail displays and under-cabinet task lighting. The 4000K colour temperature provides neutral cool white light that pairs with daylight and suits workspaces where accurate colour rendering is needed. The strip can be cut to length at 62.5mm intervals to fit exact installation dimensions, and multiple reels can be joined to cover longer runs up to a maximum of 10m per driver circuit.
The 24V constant voltage operation requires a separate 24V DC driver (sold separately) sized to the total wattage of the installed strip length. Dimming is supported when paired with compatible 24V dimmers or controllers. The 120-degree beam angle from the surface-mount LEDs provides wide light spread without visible individual LED points when installed inside an aluminium profile with a diffuser. The strip carries a 3-year warranty and an L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours, meaning 70% of the original light output is maintained after 54,000 hours of operation.

Frequently Asked
What driver is needed for this LED strip?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver. For a 5m reel drawing 9.6W per metre, you need a minimum 48W driver (5m × 9.6W). Allow 10-20% headroom for driver longevity, so a 60W 24V driver is recommended. Drivers are sold separately.
Can the strip be cut to fit shorter lengths?
Yes. The strip can be cut at marked intervals every 62.5mm. Cutting between these marks damages the circuit and prevents the cut section from lighting.
Is this strip dimmable?
Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V driver or a compatible 24V LED dimmer controller. Standard mains dimmers cannot be used directly with 24V LED strip.
What's the maximum continuous run length?
10m maximum per driver circuit. Runs longer than 10m require a second driver and a separate power feed to avoid voltage drop and uneven brightness along the strip.
