Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLCW3M is a 3-metre length of 24V DC LED strip light delivering 4000K cool white output at 1300 lumens per metre. The strip measures 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with 128 surface-mounted 2835 SMD LEDs per metre fitted to a flexible PCB backing. A 3M self-adhesive tape on the reverse allows the strip to be fixed directly to clean, dry surfaces without additional brackets.

Designed for internal feature lighting, under-cabinet task lighting, cove lighting and architectural accents, the strip requires a separate 24V constant-voltage driver (sold separately) and can be cut to custom lengths at 62.5mm intervals marked along the strip. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral to cool white light suitable for kitchens, offices, retail displays and modern residential interiors where clarity is prioritised over warmth. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry internal environments only.

At 9.6W per metre, the 3m reel draws 28.8W total and produces 3,900 lumens across the full length when run continuously. The strip is dimmable when paired with appropriate 24V dimming control gear and a compatible driver. The maximum continuous run length is 10 metres — longer installations require power injection at multiple points to prevent voltage drop and brightness fade towards the end of the run. The CRI of >80 provides acceptable colour rendering for most general applications.

The flexible construction allows the strip to follow curved profiles and fit into aluminium channels or extrusions (sold separately) for a cleaner finished appearance and improved heat dissipation. Knightsbridge produces a range of compatible drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles to support installation.

The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. For a 3m length drawing 28.8W total, a driver rated at 30W minimum is recommended. Knightsbridge produces compatible drivers sold separately at Niori.

Can the strip be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. Cut points are marked every 62.5mm along the strip. Cutting at these marked intervals preserves circuit continuity. Cutting between marked points will damage the circuit.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming requires both a dimmable 24V driver and compatible dimming control gear (0-10V controller, PWM dimmer, or smart controller). The strip itself supports dimming when paired with appropriate equipment.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry internal environments only. For bathrooms or outdoor installations, see the IP67-rated variants in the Knightsbridge LED flex range.
