Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLCW is a 24V LED strip light delivering 1300 lumens per metre at 4000K cool white, supplied as a 1m length. The strip carries 128 individual 2835 SMD LEDs spaced evenly along an 8mm-wide flexible PCB, consuming 9.6W per metre and producing 148.6 lumens per watt. A 3M self-adhesive backing runs the length of the strip for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces.

Designed for under-cabinet lighting, cove lighting, shelf edge lighting and general task lighting in kitchens, offices, retail displays and workshops, the strip runs on 24V DC constant voltage power supplied by a separate driver (sold separately). The IP20 rating restricts use to internal dry locations only. Maximum continuous run length is 10m — longer installations require multiple power feeds to prevent voltage drop and dimming at the far end of the strip.

The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral cool white light that sits between daylight and warm white, suited to task lighting where colour rendering matters (food prep areas, workbenches, display shelving). The strip can be cut to length at marked intervals every 62.5mm, allowing it to be tailored to specific run lengths. Dimming is possible when paired with a dimmable 24V driver and appropriate PWM or 0-10V control gear.

The flexible PCB bends around curves with a minimum radius of approximately 50mm, making it adaptable to non-linear runs where rigid LED battens cannot follow. Knightsbridge manufactures a range of aluminium profiles, connectors, controllers and constant voltage drivers to pair with this strip (all sold separately).

What power supply does this LED strip require?

The strip runs on 24V DC constant voltage. You need a separate 24V LED driver sized to match the total wattage of your installation (9.6W per metre, so a 1m strip needs at least a 10W driver; a 5m run needs a 50W driver). Knightsbridge and other manufacturers supply compatible drivers separately.

Can the strip be cut to a custom length?

Yes. The strip has marked cutting points every 62.5mm where it can be safely cut with scissors or a blade. Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit and leave sections of LEDs non-functional.

Is this strip dimmable?

Dimming is possible when the strip is powered by a dimmable 24V constant voltage driver paired with PWM, 0-10V or DALI control gear. The strip itself does not dim without the appropriate driver and controller.

What is the maximum run length before voltage drop affects brightness?

The maximum continuous run from a single power feed is 10m. Longer installations require additional power injection points to prevent dimming and colour shift at the far end of the strip.
