Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLWW3M is a 3-metre reel of 24V DC LED strip delivering 1260 lumens per metre at 3000K warm white. The strip measures 8mm wide and 1.2mm thick, with 128 surface-mounted 2835 SMD LEDs per metre running at 9.6W per metre. The strip arrives with 3M self-adhesive backing tape applied to the rear, allowing direct application to clean, dry surfaces.

Designed for internal lighting installation only (IP20 rating), the strip suits under-cabinet task lighting in kitchens, cove lighting for ambient ceiling wash, alcove and display shelving accent, wardrobe interiors, and architectural feature detailing. The 24V DC supply requires a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately). The strip can be dimmed when paired with a compatible 24V dimming driver and controller. Cut points occur every 62.5mm along the length, allowing the strip to be trimmed to exact measurements during installation.

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen and traditional incandescent sources, making it suitable for residential spaces where cooler LED tones feel too clinical. At 144 lumens per watt efficacy and a CRI of greater than 80, the strip balances energy efficiency with acceptable colour rendering for most domestic and hospitality applications. Maximum continuous run length is 10 metres before voltage drop becomes noticeable — longer runs require power injection at intervals or a second driver circuit.

The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage LED driver. For a 3-metre reel running at 9.6W per metre, you need a driver rated at minimum 29W (3m × 9.6W), though a 30W or 40W driver would provide headroom. The driver must be sized appropriately for the total length being installed.

Can this be dimmed?

Yes, when paired with a compatible 24V dimming driver and controller. The strip itself is dimmable, but both the driver and any dimming controller must support 24V DC LED loads. Standard mains dimmers will not work.

Where can I cut the strip?

Cut points occur every 62.5mm along the length, marked on the strip itself. Cutting outside these points will damage the circuit and render that section unusable. Each cut point contains solder pads for re-connection if needed.
