Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24HLWW5M is a 5m reel of 24V LED strip light delivering 1260 lumens per metre at 3000K warm white. The strip uses 128 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre mounted on an 8mm-wide flexible PCB drawing 9.6W per metre, with a 3M self-adhesive backing for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces.

Designed for internal applications including under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, cove lighting in living rooms, display shelf illumination and indirect architectural lighting, the strip can be cut to exact length at 62.5mm intervals to fit specific runs. The maximum single run is 10m when powered from one end, with runs over 5m requiring mid-point power injection to maintain consistent brightness. The strip requires a 24V constant voltage driver (sold separately) matched to the total wattage of the installed run.

The 120-degree beam angle spreads light evenly along surfaces without creating harsh shadows or bright spots. The CRI rating exceeds 80, providing good colour rendering for residential and hospitality applications. The strip is dimmable when paired with compatible PWM or 0-10V dimming drivers (sold separately). The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor areas only — bathroom zones, wet rooms and outdoor applications require IP67-rated versions from the same Knightsbridge flex range.

The 8mm width and 1.2mm projection allow installation in narrow extrusions and profiles, including aluminium channels with diffuser covers (sold separately) that conceal individual LED points and create a continuous line of light. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm, neutral white that pairs with tungsten, halogen and incandescent sources without creating noticeable colour shifts.

The strip requires a 24V constant voltage LED driver matched to the total wattage of your installation. At 9.6W per metre, a 5m reel draws 48W, so a driver rated 60W or higher is recommended to allow headroom. Knightsbridge offers compatible drivers sold separately at Niori.

Can I cut the strip to a shorter length?

Yes. The strip can be cut at marked intervals every 62.5mm. Cut only at the designated cut marks to avoid damaging the circuit. Solderless connectors are available separately for joining cut sections or adding power feeds.

Is this strip dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a compatible dimming driver. The strip itself supports PWM and 0-10V dimming protocols, but the driver must support the chosen dimming method. Check the driver specification before purchasing.
