Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24CCT is a 5m CCT-adjustable LED strip light on a 24V DC low-voltage system, offering a colour temperature range from warm 2700K through neutral 4000K to cool 6000K white. The strip carries 120 individual 2016 SMD LEDs per metre on a 10mm-wide flexible PCB backing with 3M self-adhesive tape pre-applied along the reverse, allowing it to be fixed inside aluminium profiles, under kitchen cabinets, behind headboards, or within cove lighting runs.
CCT adjustment requires a compatible CCT controller (sold separately) paired with a 24V constant-voltage LED driver. Once wired together, the system allows the user to shift colour temperature on demand to suit the time of day, task or mood without replacing the strip. The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked copper pads, making it adaptable to exact run lengths within a 10m maximum continuous run. At 11W per metre consumption and 490 lumens per metre output at 4000K, a full 5m reel draws 55W and outputs approximately 2,450 lumens when powered.
The IP20 rating limits the strip to dry indoor environments — kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, wardrobes, retail displays and hospitality interiors where moisture exposure is minimal. The CRI exceeds 90, rendering colours accurately under the strip's light, which matters in clothing retail, gallery lighting and residential kitchens. The 120-degree beam angle from the SMD LEDs provides wide light distribution when installed in a shallow profile or behind a frosted diffuser.
The strip is supplied as a bare 5m reel. Aluminium mounting profiles with diffusers, end caps, mounting clips, 24V drivers, CCT controllers and strip-to-strip connectors are available separately. The L70B50 rated lifespan of 36,000 hours translates to approximately 12 years of use at 8 hours per day before the strip dims to 70 per cent of its initial output.

Frequently Asked
What's needed to install and control this strip?
The strip requires a 24V constant-voltage LED driver rated for at least 55W (for a full 5m reel) and a CCT controller to enable colour temperature adjustment. Both are sold separately. Aluminium profiles with diffusers are also sold separately and recommended for mounting the strip and protecting it from physical contact.
Can the strip be cut to a specific length?
Yes. The strip has cut marks every 100mm along its length at copper contact pads. Cut at these points with sharp scissors or a craft knife. Maximum continuous run is 10m — longer runs require a separate power feed.
Is this suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. The IP20 rating means the strip is not protected against moisture or dust ingress. It is designed for dry indoor environments only. Knightsbridge produces IP67-rated strip variants for bathrooms and outdoor installation — search for IP67 LED strip at Niori.
How is CCT adjustment controlled?
CCT control requires a compatible CCT LED controller (wall-mounted dial, remote control, or app-based depending on controller model). The controller sits between the 24V driver and the LED strip, modulating the output to shift colour temperature between warm white and cool white.
