Description

The Knightsbridge LED3WWW is a 310mm linkable LED strip light delivering 395 lumens of warm white 3000K light from an integrated 3W LED array housed in an aluminium and polycarbonate body measuring 33mm wide and 8mm deep. The fitting runs on 24V DC low voltage, requiring a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately), and ships complete with a linking coupler, 1m power cord and fixing kit for surface mounting under kitchen cabinets, shelving or inside wardrobes.

Designed for under-cabinet task lighting and discrete accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the strip can be mounted horizontally or vertically and linked end-to-end using the supplied coupler or optional link leads (available separately). Up to six units can be connected in series on a single 24V driver circuit, allowing continuous runs across galley kitchens or long display shelving without visible gaps. Each strip can be individually switched when wired to separate control circuits, giving flexibility in how zones are lit.

The aluminium body acts as a heat sink for the LED array, maintaining consistent light output over the rated 35,000-hour L70B50 lifespan. The polycarbonate diffuser spreads the LED point sources into a continuous line of light with a 90-degree beam angle, reducing glare when viewed from normal standing or seated positions. The IP20 rating suits dry interior locations only; this is not rated for bathrooms, outdoor use or any wet environment.

The fitting operates on 24V DC, which means a mains-to-24V constant voltage driver is required upstream. Dimming capability depends on pairing with a dimmable 24V driver and compatible dimmer control; the LED array itself supports dimming when appropriate control gear is installed. The Class III electrical classification means the fitting has no earth connection and relies entirely on the low-voltage supply for safety isolation from mains voltage.

No. This strip runs on 24V DC and requires a separate constant voltage driver (transformer) to convert mains 230V AC to 24V DC. The driver must be sized to handle the total wattage of all strips connected in the circuit.

How many strips can be linked together?

Up to six units can be connected end-to-end on a single 24V driver circuit, giving a maximum continuous run of 1860mm (6 x 310mm). Link using the supplied coupler or optional link leads available separately from Knightsbridge.

Is this dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable 24V constant voltage driver and compatible dimmer control. The LED array supports dimming but requires appropriate upstream control gear to function.

Can this be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating is suitable for dry interior locations only. This strip is not rated for bathrooms (which require IP44 minimum in zones 1 and 2) or outdoor use.
