Description

The Knightsbridge 24V 11W LED strip light is a 101cm under-cabinet or shelf lighting unit with an integrated warm white 3000K LED delivering 1325 lumens through a polycarbonate diffuser. The aluminium housing measures 33mm wide and 8mm deep, sitting flat against the underside of cabinets, shelving or worksurfaces. The strip runs on 24V DC and requires a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately).

Designed for kitchens, wardrobes, display cabinets and workspace task lighting, the strip can be mounted horizontally or vertically and linked end-to-end using the included coupler or optional link leads. Multiple strips can be run from a single driver and each strip can be individually switched when wired with intermediate switches. The 90-degree beam angle spreads light evenly across worksurfaces without creating defined spotting.

The unit comes complete with a 1m power cord, end-to-end coupler and fixing kit for installation. The polycarbonate diffuser softens the LED array behind it, avoiding visible individual diodes when viewed from the side. The Class III rating means the strip operates at extra-low voltage (24V DC), reducing shock risk compared to mains-voltage linear fittings. Dimming is supported when paired with a compatible 24V dimmable driver.

The aluminium construction provides heat dissipation for the LED array, contributing to the L70B50 rating of 35,000 hours (the point at which 50% of units will have degraded to 70% of initial light output). The CRI rating above 80 renders colours accurately enough for most residential and retail applications. The IP20 rating limits the strip to dry indoor locations only.

What driver is needed to run this strip?

The strip requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver rated for at least 11W. When linking multiple strips, the driver must be rated for the combined wattage of all connected units. Knightsbridge offers compatible drivers sold separately.

Can multiple strips be linked together?

Yes. The strip includes an end-to-end coupler for direct linking, or you can use optional link leads for spacing between units. Each strip can be individually switched when wired with intermediate switches in the circuit.

Is this dimmable?

Dimming is supported when the strip is paired with a dimmable 24V driver and appropriate dimmer control. The strip itself does not include dimming circuitry, so driver and control gear must be specified separately.

Can it be used in bathrooms or kitchens near sinks?

The IP20 rating limits the strip to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for direct exposure to water, steam or high humidity. For under-cabinet use near sinks, position the strip away from direct splashing and ensure adequate ventilation to prevent condensation buildup.
