Description

This is a power-feed set for 230V AC LED rope light, decoded from the article code as the GIVRO-PR feed kit rated to 200W with an IP65 weatherproof seal. It connects a cut length of mains-voltage rope light to the supply, sealing the open end so the run can be powered safely. The plastic housing and IP65 rating suit outdoor, garden and sheltered applications where the connection point is exposed to splashes and damp.

It fits 230V AC LED rope light only, not low-voltage 12V or 24V strip, and feeds runs up to its 200W rating. The set is supplied without a plug, so the lead is wired in to suit the installation. We also stock the matching 230V LED rope light, plus in-line connectors, end-caps and mounting clips to complete the run.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. With its IP65 rating and sealed plastic housing it is rated for outdoor, garden and sheltered locations exposed to rain and splashes. Keep the wiring connections protected and made off correctly.

Does it come with a plug?

No, this set is supplied without a plug, as the article code indicates. The mains lead is wired in directly to suit the installation, so it should be fitted by a competent electrician.

How many do I need?

You need one power-feed set for each separate run of rope light to bring the mains supply to the cut end. Longer or split layouts will need an additional feed set per powered section.
