Description
The Knightsbridge 22W LED striplight is a 1438mm linear fitting delivering 1550 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains with a 2m power cable fitted, and includes mounting clips, a coupler and an independent on/off switch. Up to 12 striplights can be linked end-to-end or via optional link leads to form continuous runs.
Designed for under-cabinet lighting in kitchens, workshop task lighting, office workbenches and retail display shelving, the striplight mounts horizontally or vertically on a flat surface using the supplied clips. The 145-degree beam angle distributes light evenly across worktops and surfaces, while the opal diffuser hides the individual LED diodes to prevent glare and hotspots. The 36mm projection from the wall and 22.8mm width give a low-profile installation that sits flush under most standard UK kitchen cabinets.
The polycarbonate body is rated IP20 for dry indoor use and carries a Class II double-insulated rating, meaning it does not require an earth connection during installation. The L70B50 rating of 54,000 hours indicates that half the LEDs will still be delivering at least 70% of their original output after 54,000 hours of use, which translates to roughly 15 years at 10 hours per day. The CRI of >80 provides reasonably accurate colour rendering for general task and ambient lighting.

Frequently Asked
How many units can be linked together?
Up to 12 striplights can be connected in a single chain. They can be linked end-to-end using the included coupler or via optional link leads to bridge gaps between units. The total load on the circuit must not exceed the rated capacity of the supply.
Is this striplight dimmable?
No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The fitting has an independent on/off switch but no dimming control.
What's included in the box?
Each striplight comes with a 2m mains power cable, mounting clips, a coupler for linking to additional units, and an independent switch. Screws for fixing to the mounting surface are also included.
Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating means this striplight is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, kitchens splash zones, or any outdoor or damp environment.
